Q: How do I enter the contest?

You clearly haven’t been paying attention. Okay so, again, click the link in the navigation called “Submit”. On this page you can fill out all your entry details and upload your video. Ta-da!

Q: What do I have to submit?
|

Submissions are limited to original videos that are less than 3 minutes in length. You can send us other stuff too if you like, but really, that won’t help you in the contest.

Q: Who’s eligible?
|

Any Canadian residents except for residents in Quebec, who are 16 years of age or older are eligible. See the contest rules for full details on eligibility.

Q: Are there any file format restrictions?
|

Our tech people don’t like to discriminate against different file types, meaning you can submit your video in any of the below formats:
• Windows Media Video (.avi)
• .3GP (cell phones)
• .AVI (windows)
• .MOV (mac)
• .MP4 (ipod/psp)
• .MPEG
• .FLV (adobe flash)
• .SWF (shockwave flash)
• .MKV (h.264)

Q: When will be video appear on the website?

It’ll be up within 24 hours of your initial upload. We promise. Unless it contains content that goes against or is contrary to the contest rules. Follow the rules, man. Don’t be that guy.

Q: Why was my video rejected?
|

Because you broke the rules when we so clearly stated them. I mean, did you really think we’d post something like that? So, to prevent us from disqualifying your entry, please read the contest rules carefully.

Q: Can I use a popular song in my submission?
|
A:
|
That song is really played out. So, no. But also because you’re kinda limited to using only something you have the rights to or your video will be rejected.

Q: How can I get my friends to help me win?
|
A:
|
Get them to view and vote for your video by using the Share and Embed codes on your entry page. Each vote gets you closer to winning, so be sure to tell your friends to spread the word and to pass along your video. Cause after all, that’s what friends are for—helping you win stuff.

Q: What’s my Profile page?
|

When you upload a video, you’ll automatically receive a Profile page. It’s where you can track your video’s activity, manage your video and add another if you want. This is also where you can update your contact information. Pretty helpful, huh? You’re welcome.

Q: How many times can I vote?
|
A:
|
You can vote for a video each time you visit the site. If you vote for the same video over and over during one visit, it’ll only receive one vote. So come back the next day to vote.

Q: What’s the big prize?
